Cal Maier Guitar

This one-of-a-kind acoustic guitar was made by Canadian luthier Cal Maier. Formerly of Red Deer, Alberta, where he owned and operated a music store for many years and was a guitar repairman, he now specializes in custom-made guitars from his home in Kelowna, British Columbia. This guitar shows stylistic influences from CF Martin & Company’s OM model, and Gibson Guitar Corporation’s particular sunburst top. With patterns of wear consistent with it being used, the guitar was previously enjoyed by players and will continue to be available for use by artists in NMC’s Recording Studios.
