David Foster Foundation Grand Piano
Successful Canadian record producer David Foster has made a name for himself writing hits for some of the world’s greatest singers. In 1986, he created the David Foster Foundation—which supports children in need of medical transplants. The Yamaha seen here was originally Foster’s touring piano, and has been used by him and other artists for dozens of major performances. Boasting the personal signatures of 130 artists, entertainers, and celebrities—the piano was auctioned off at the 2010 David Foster and Friends Charity Gala. Auctioned once more in 2013, the piano raised over one million dollars total—with all proceeds going towards his foundation.
Donated to the National Music Centre in 2013
