Ontario born, Quebec-raised, Ronnie Prophet was the quintessential entertainer. He could sing and play guitar, do impersonations, tell stories, and take you from laughter to tears in a three-minute tune. A superstar in his own right, he was also responsible for introducing many of his friends -- including Johnny Cash, George Jones, Dolly Parton, and Kenny Rogers -- to Canadian audiences via his many TV shows for CBC and CTV, among others. This was one of his Peavey electric guitars.
