Hank Snow Stage Outfit

This rhinestone-studded suit belonged to Canadian country music legend Hank Snow. Born in Nova Scotia, Snow got his big break in Nashville with hit songs like “I’m Moving On” and “I’ve Been Everywhere”. The colourful suit seen here was created by famed clothing designer Nudie Cohn, who’s signature, flamboyant “Nudie Suits” were must-haves for country singers at the time. Other clients of Cohn included Elvis Presley, who counted Hank Snow as an early musical mentor in the ‘50s.
