Richie Hawtin Bass Line

This Roland bass synthesizer belongs to Canadian electronic musician and techno-master, Richie Hawtin. Born in England, Hawtin grew up in Windsor, Ontario, and got his start in Detroit, working as a DJ at age 17. Under the aliases Plastikman, F.U.S.E, and Circuit Breaker, Hawtin pioneered a stripped-down, minimal aesthetic that gained him a devout following of techno enthusiasts all over the world.  Now based out of Berlin, Hawtin continues to push electronic music forward as a producer, performer and label owner. In 2014, Hawtin received the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at the Association of Independent Music (AIM) UK.
