BiographyLouis Dulcken (1733 – ca. 1793) was born Johan Lodewijk Dulcken in Maastricht, The Netherlands, the eldest son of famed harpsichord builder Joannes Dulcken (1706 – 1757, active in Antwerp and Brussels). Dulcken first established his workshop in Amsterdam, relocating to Paris in 1783 and Gallicizing his name to Louis Dulcken.
