Canadian Country Music Association Award
The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) honours its members who have excelled during the past year with a CCMA Award. Recognizing individuals, groups and businesses across 41 different awards categories, winners are selected by the CCMA membership in a 3-stage ballot process culminating in the awards show held each fall. Seen here is the CCMA Award for Record Store of the Year won by Megatunes Music in 2004. The award is presented to a record company which has released a Canadian country product for sale within the award’s eligibility period. It is made from five pieces of crystal glass, layered to suggest a curtained stage backdrop.
