Nash the Slash Stage Outfit
Seen here is the trademark stage outfit worn by eccentric Canadian musician and film composer Nash the Slash, a.k.a. Jeff Plewman. A multi-instrumentalist, Nash the Slash was known for playing the electric violin and was the first Canadian musician to use a drum-machine on an album in 1978. Nash began performing in a tuxedo, sunglasses and top hat, with surgical bandages covering his face in 1979. In 1985 he successfully sued Pepsi for using his unique likeness in a commercial without permission.
