Lee Aaron "Bodyrock" stage outfit
The black lace bralette and vintage motorcycle jacket seen here belonged to Canadian singer-songwriter Lee Aaron. Born in Belleville, Ontario, Aaron rose to fame in the 1980s with her hit song “Metal Queen”. In 1989, she released her fifth studio album, Bodyrock, to massive success. Proclaimed by Chart Magazine as one of the 20 most influential albums of the decade, the album was certified double platinum in Canada and garnered the rocker two JUNO nominations. Aaron wore this ensemble while on the Bodyrock tour in 1989/90, and on the alternate Japanese-edition cover for the album.
