Six-sided Tremolo Harmonica
Known in German as the “Kreuzwender”, this unique instrument combines six separate tremolo harmonicas in one compact unit. With each side tuned to a different key—C, D, F, G, A, and B flat—the player simply rotates the instrument to switch between keys, depending on the musical occasion. German clock-maker Mattias Hohner began crafting harmonicas in 1857, expanding his company over the next century to manufacture a range of instruments including accordions, melodicas, guitars, and electronic keyboards.
