Pascal Taskin

Pascal Taskin (1723 – 1793) is among the most famed French harpsichord builders, having been born in the Theux region of southern France but spending the majority of his professional career in Paris. There is little documented information about his life, however it is known that he married into the Blanchet family, who had been active as harpsichord builders since the late seventeenth century, and worked in their shop for a period of time.
