Neil Young Harmonica
This harmonica and holder belonged to iconic Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young. Hailing from a small town in Ontario, Young carved out a name for himself in the American folk-rock scene with bands Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, before releasing his first self-titled album, Neil Young, in 1969. Often seen performing on stage with a hands-free harmonica, Young’s harmonica solos are a defining feature on some of the rocker’s best-known songs, such as “Old Man” and “Heart of Gold”—one of the rocker’s softer acoustic pieces, written after a back injury left him unable to stand and play guitar for long periods of time.
