ATB Oral Histories Project

The ATB Financial Alberta Oral History Recording Project collects, preserves, and shares Alberta’s music history by engaging, interviewing, and recording the voices of the people whose lives have been touched by music in Alberta: artists from all walks of life, community elders, musical innovators, promoters, educators and more.

These interviews will provide an historical insight into the culture and growth of the province. Each interview will feature a particular individual or group to create an in-depth understanding of their contribution. While the individual contributions are significant, the intersection of the careers will provide the fabric that helps weave the story of music in Alberta.
